Abstract

The value of employing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) frameworks is now more widely understood to be essential for driving better business performance and sustainability in healthcare. The purpose of this study is to use the large-scale survey data and comprehensive surveys conducted in an overview article on previous evaluative researches about hospital performance based ESG principles. These key statements were developed in view of the perceived ESG influence on staff's attitude as agree or disagree. The results show a positive association, but there are still challenges in executing the program.

    PhD. Biljana Marković is an academic and healthcare professional from Koprivnica, Croatia. She holds a PhD in Media and Communication from the University of North, Croatia. Her career included roles such as Deputy Director at the General Hospital "Dr. Tomislav Bardek" in Koprivnica. Now she is lecturer in economics and information sciences at the University of North. She has contributed to projects aimed at improving hospital efficiency and patient safety. Her research focuses on health communication and information literacy in regulated healthcare professions.   • Iva Rosanda Žigo, University of North, Croatia

    Author Iva Rosanda Žigo works as full professor at the University North in Croatia. She graduated from Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, where he got his PhD in the topic; “The Influence of Directorial Poetics on the Formation of the Rijeka National Theatre (1946–1980)”.
