Announcement of the Completion of the Journal Certification Process in Hrčak
The Editorial Board of the Southeastern European Medical (SEEMEDJ) Journal, published by the Faculty of Medicine Osijek, informs authors, reviewers, and readers that the journal certification process within the Hrčak system has been conducted for the first time.
The certification process verifies the journal's compliance with prescribed quality standards for scientific and professional publishing, transparency of editorial procedures, data availability, and the application of open access principles and good publishing practices.
We are proud to highlight that the SEEMEDJ has successfully met the certification criteria and earned both Hrčak quality certificates, placing it among only 25% of journals that have achieved this.
The awarded certificates confirm:
- Transparency of the editorial and peer-review process,
- Compliance with international standards of scientific publishing,
- Availability and open access to published papers,
- Quality of the editorial policy and the journal's ethical principles.
This recognition confirms the editorial board's continuous work to improve the journal's quality and the visibility of scientific publications within the international academic community.
We thank all authors, reviewers, editors, and collaborators whose work contributes to the development and quality of the Southeastern European Medical Journal.
