About the Journal

EKONOMSKI PREGLED is the journal of the Croatian Economic Association (CEA) which publishes theoretical, empirical and applicable articles, covering all fields of economic science. The journal is published six times a year.

In 1935, a core of young, educated economists initiated the publication of the Ekonomist journal. Its publication was halted in 1944, only to be re-established in 1950 this time under the name Ekonomski pregled. The papers published in Ekonomski pregled deal with the macro- and microeconomic aspects of the theory and practice of economic development and reflect the topical economic and political events in this part of the world. That is why the journal is a substantial reading for the researchers in the field of economic history in this region, but also for the scholars wanting to know more about the recent state of economic science in Croatia. The papers are primarily published in Croatian and English, but upon the decision of the Editorial board in other languages as well.
