Declaration of generative AI use
Authors must declare any use of generative AI in the manuscript preparation process upon submission of the paper.
Generative AI and AI-assisted tools may be used to support research and manuscript preparation, including for language editing, proofreading, grammar and style correction, text translation, content organization, and similar purposes. However, such tools must not replace human critical thinking, scientific judgment, or responsibility for the content.
Authors remain fully responsible and accountable for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work, including any content generated or assisted by AI tools. All AI-generated or AI-assisted material must be carefully reviewed, verified, and edited by the authors.
DISCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS
Authors must not list or cite AI tools as an author or co-author, as authorship entails responsibilities that can be attributed only to humans.
If AI tools were used ( including for proofreading, language editing, translation, or formatting) authors are required to submit a separate AI disclosure statement upon submission, clearly indicating the name of the tool and the purpose of its use.
If no AI tools were used, no disclosure statement is required.
Disclosure statement (example):
During the preparation of this manuscript, the author(s) used [name of AI tool or service] for the purpose of [specific purpose, e.g. language editing, content organization].
Following the use of this tool or service, the author(s) reviewed and edited the content as necessary and take(s) full responsibility for the content of the published article.
All scientific content, interpretations, and conclusions presented in this paper are the sole responsibility of the authors. The authors confirm that the manuscript represents their original work and that they take full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the paper.
