Exploring the Essence-Energies Distinction

Abstract

I would like to say that reading the book Divine Energies and Divine Action was both challenging and rewarding. As a work in philosophical theology, it will be inaccessible to most Christians without at least some philosophical background. Nevertheless, I believe that most pastors and especially theologians should be able to gain a better understanding of the topic and perhaps even some new ideas in lieu of its application to Christian life and theology.
