About the Journal

Libri oncologici, Croatian Journal of Oncology, is an oncological journal, published by the University Hospital for Tumors, Sestre milosrdnice University Hospital Center, Zagreb, Croatia. Libri oncologici were launched in 1972 by Central Institute for Tumors and Allied Diseases, League Against Cancer SR Croatian, Oncological sections in Croatian Medical Association and Chemical-Pharmaceutical company PLIVA. The journal had a significant impact within the region. In 1992 Libri oncologici changed the publishing frequency from four to three times a year, format and editorial board composition, papers are published in English only, scope is covering experimental, translational and clinical oncology. Since 1997 University Hospital for Tumors became the only publisher, which is continued after University Hospital for Tumors became a part of University Hospital Centre Sestre milosrdnice. Editors in Chief have been Ivo Padovan (1972-73), Predrag Keros (1974-91), Krsto Kolarić (1992-95), Marko Turić (1996-2010), Danko Velimir Vrdoljak (2011-2020) and Ivan Milas (2020-).

Libri oncologici is an Open Access journal. All content is made freely available. Users are allowed to copy and redistribute, and alter, transform, or build upon the material as long as they attribute the source in an appropriate manner.
