Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published as a peer-reviewed journal article, book chapter, or other formal publication, nor is it under consideration by another journal. Posting the manuscript as a preprint on a recognized preprint server or repository, such as arXiv or SSRN, is permitted, provided that the preprint URL or DOI is fully disclosed at submission. This information should be provided on the Title Page or in the Cover Letter, not in the anonymized manuscript.
- The manuscript is written in clear academic English.
- The corresponding author confirms that all listed authors meet the journal’s authorship criteria and have approved the final version of the manuscript.
- The Title Page includes full author names, institutional affiliations (institution, department, city, country), institutional e-mail addresses, ORCID iDs, the corresponding author marked clearly, and the organization’s ROR ID where applicable.
- The Title Page includes a Conflict of Interest statement, Funding Acknowledgements (if applicable), a Data Availability Statement, and an Author Contributions statement in line with the CRediT taxonomy.
- Where applicable, the Title Page also includes an Ethics Statement confirming ethical approval, informed consent, and compliance with relevant institutional standards for research involving human participants, survey data, or animal subjects.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx) format. PDF submissions are not accepted.
- A blinded version of the manuscript has been prepared for double-anonymized peer review. All identifying information has been removed from the manuscript, file name, footnotes, acknowledgments, and file properties (metadata).
- For double-anonymous review, all self-identifying references have been anonymized at submission. Self-citations are replaced with “Author (Year)” in the text and “Author, Year” in the reference list. Full APA 7 references will be restored in the final accepted version.
- If the manuscript is derived from a conference presentation/paper, thesis/dissertation, or institutional research project, this has been clearly disclosed at submission.
- Any use of AI tools has been explicitly declared, including the tool name and scope of use, and the disclosure appears in the Methods or Acknowledgments section.
- The manuscript follows APA Style, 7th edition. Every in-text citation matches a reference entry, and each in-text citation is hyperlinked to the corresponding bookmarked reference entry in the reference list.
- Where available, DOIs and URLs have been provided for all references.
- The manuscript includes an abstract in English of 150–250 words, 4–5 keywords, and relevant JEL classification codes. The abstract follows the required structure: Purpose; Design/Methodology; Findings; Practical Implications; Originality/Value.
- The anonymous main text follows the journal’s required section structure
- All tables and figures are numbered, titled, and cited in the text. Where applicable, separate high-resolution figure files and any supplementary material have been uploaded and referenced properly.
- The author(s) agree to the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0) under which the article will be published.
