Criteria for City Neighbourhoods’ Planning and Designing in the Context of the Smart City Platform

This research redefines criteria for planning smart city neighbourhoods by analysing international guidelines, architectural principles and emerging technologies. It identifies gaps in current approaches and proposes updated, human-centred and sustainable standards to advance spatial quality, social inclusivity and improve overall urban living conditions. These criteria aim to support neighbourhoods that adapt to future needs.
