About the Journal

PROSTOR: A Scholarly Journal of Architecture and Urban Planning is an international peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to research in architecture, urbanism, and the built environment. The journal is indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection, including the Arts & Humanities Citation Index.

PROSTOR primarily publishes original scientific papers in the fields of architecture and urbanism, while also welcoming interdisciplinary contributions from related scientific disciplines when thematically aligned with the journal’s scope. As a primary scientific journal, PROSTOR accepts exclusively original and previously unpublished manuscripts that are not simultaneously under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Established in 1993, the journal is published biannually in both print (ISSN 1330-0652) and electronic (ISSN 1333-9117) formats. The journal publishes original scientific papers, preliminary communications, scientific subject reviews, and selected review contributions, including book reviews.

All published content is available in open access under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, ensuring free and permanent access to scholarly research. While publication fees apply, reduced fees or discounts may be available for certain categories of authors.
