raumlaborberlin, founded in 1999, operates as a “space laboratory,” creating interdisciplinary, experimental projects at the intersection of architecture, public art, and activism. Polylemma (DAM Award 2024) documents their practice through projects, bookwalks, conversations, and archival texts, reflecting their collaborative, context-sensitive, and material-conscious methods. The book resists linear structure, mirroring the collective’s fluid, socially engaged, and experimental approach, offering a blueprint for future architectural practice.
