About the Journal

Kairos: Evangelical Journal of Theology is a Croatian A2 scientific journal (according to the Croatian Regulations on Requirements for the Appointment to Scientific Ranks) that addresses biblical, theological, and religious topics from the perspective of evangelical theology. It is published by the Biblical Institute in Zagreb in collaboration with the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek. 

An article published in English in Kairos: Evangelical Journal of Theology is automatically translated and published in Croatian in Kairos: Evanđeoski teološki časopis.

A new issue of Kairos: Evangelical Journal of Theology has been published, addressing topics such as Bible editions in Croatia (1990–2020), the missionary work of Churches of Christ in Croatia (1960–2010), and the role of music within churches of the Reformation heritage. It also engages with timely issues in church practice, including grief, premature loss, and the sense of emptiness following the sudden death of a loved one, as well as burnout among church ministers.
