Abstract

This paper presents geodetic journals indexed in Scopus and their quartile rankings for 2025 in the context of the new national criteria for appointments to scientific and scientific-teaching positions in the Republic of Croatia. A notable change is that papers published in journals indexed in the WoSCC and Scopus databases are now evaluated equally. A search of the SCImago database identified 50 geodetic journals with SJR values for 2025, classified into quartiles ranging from Q1 to Q4. Among the journals indexed in Scopus are two Croatian journals, Kartografija i geoinformacije and Geodetski list. Their inclusion in Scopus represents a significant achievement for Croatian geodesy and provides domestic researchers with additional opportunities to publish papers relevant to academic and scientific career advancement.
