Non-Geodetic Journals Indexed in Scopus Suitable for Publishing Research from Various Branches of Geodesy

Abstract

The new national criteria for appointments to scientific and academic positions in the Republic of Croatia have equalized the evaluation of papers indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) and Scopus databases. This has provided geodesists with a wider range of journals in which to publish their scientific research. This paper identifies foreign non-geodetic journals that publish research in specific branches of geodesy. For each journal, the SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) for 2025 and the corresponding quartile are provided. The presented list may serve as a useful resource for researchers when selecting an appropriate journal for publishing the results of their scientific investigations
