Abstract

Geographies is an international, interdisciplinary, open-access journal that has been publishing papers from a broad range of geographical and related fields since 2021. Among other areas, the journal also covers geomatics, whereby, in English terminology, geomatics encompasses all branches of geodesy according to the Croatian classification system. A review of ten papers published in 2025 and 2026 shows that topics from most branches of geodesy are represented. The journal is indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection (ESCI) and Scopus, and in 2025 it was ranked in the second quartile (Q2).
