The CiteScore (Scopus) and JIF (Clarivate) for 2024 have been published
Dear Rud.-geol-naft. zb. journal users,
We are pleased to inform you that the 2024 CiteScore (Scopus) and Journal Citation Reports (JCR, Clarivate) metrics have been published. Our journal has achieved a CiteScore of 2.7, an improvement from 2.5 in 2023. This positions us in Q2 across three subject categories: Geology (Earth and Planetary Sciences), General and Geotechnical Engineering, and Engineering Geology. Additionally, we are ranked in Q3 in General Energy (Energy) and Water Science and Technology (Environmental Science).
Clarivate has also released its 2024 JCR update. Our journal has received an Impact Factor of 1.1, compared to 1.2 in 2023. Based on this, we are ranked in Q4 (197/258) in Geosciences, Multidisciplinary and Q3 (21/33) in Mining and Mineral Processing. Furthermore, the Journal Citation Indicator (JCI) for 2023 is 0.35, placing us in Q3 (190/258) in Geosciences, Multidisciplinary and Q3 (21/33) in Mining and Mineral Processing.
