Information For Authors

CJAIM invites submissions in English through OJS. There are no APCs, submission fees, or page charges. Original research and most reviews receive double-blind external review (≥2 reviewers where applicable); case reports, letters, and editorials / invited commentaries follow the pathways described in the Editorial Policy. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step submission process. All authors must supply an affiliation and email, and the corresponding author an ORCID iD (strongly encouraged for co-authors); disclose funding and conflicts of interest; and follow the AI policy where generative or analytical AI is used. Manuscripts are screened for plagiarism with Crossref Similarity Check (powered by iThenticate). See Author Guidelines and the submission checklist before submitting.

CJAIM accepts original research articles, review articles, case reports, and letters to the editor in the fields of:
• Anaesthesiology
• Intensive care medicine
• Perioperative medicine
• Pain medicine
• Emergency medicine
• Related clinical and basic medical disciplines

All submissions undergo peer review. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication.
