Abstract

Since 2023, the Journal Impact Factor (JIF) has also been calculated for journals indexed in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), which previously did not receive this metric. The accompanying table lists geomatic and related journals ranked by their JIF for 2025, together with their respective quartile classifications. The highest JIF was achieved by Journal of Geovisualization and Spatial Analysis (6.8; Q1), followed by International Journal of Engineering and Geosciences (4.9; Q2) and Annals of GIS (4.8; Q1). While the majority of the journals are classified in the Q3 and Q4 quartiles, two journals are ranked in Q1 and nine in Q2. The Croatian journals (Geodetski list, Geoadria, and Hrvatski geografski glasnik) are all classified in Q4.
