2025 Journal Metrics Published: CiteScore 2.8, SJR 0.332 and JIF 1.3

Dear Rud.-geol-naft. zb. journal users,

We are pleased to announce the latest 2025 journal metrics, published in 2026.

The journal achieved a CiteScore of 2.8 (2.7 in 2024). According to Scopus, Rudarsko-geološko-naftni zbornik is ranked Q2 in Geology and General Earth and Planetary Sciences, and Q3 in Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering Geology, General Energy, and Water Science and Technology.

The SCImago Journal Rank (SJR) for 2025 is 0.332, with the journal ranked Q3 in all five SCImago subject categories.

The Journal Impact Factor (JIF) has increased to 1.3, compared with 1.1 in 2024. According to the 2025 Journal Citation Reports (Clarivate), the journal is ranked Q3 in both Geosciences, Multidisciplinary and Mining & Mineral Processing.
