About the Journal

Prostor: A Scholarly Journal of Architecture and Urban Planning is a peer-reviewed academic journal in the fields of architecture and urbanism, indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection (Arts & Humanities Citation Index).

The journal primarily publishes original scientific papers in architecture and urbanism, while also welcoming contributions from related disciplines if thematically relevant. As a primary scientific journal, Prostor accepts only previously unpublished manuscripts, which must not be concurrently submitted in the same form to any other publisher.

Since its establishment in 1993, Prostor has been published twice a year, in both print (ISSN 1330-0652) and electronic (ISSN 1333-9117) formats. It publishes original scientific papers, preliminary communications, scientific subject reviews, and book reviews. All published content is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license. The journal charges publication fees; however, discounts are available for certain authors.

For inclusion in the summer issue, manuscripts should preferably be submitted by 1 March of the current year, and for the winter issue by 1 September. Manuscripts received during August are not processed or sent for review.

In 2024, the journal published a total of 25 articles.
